Danforth Tells It Like It Is
Mar 31st
The Republican Senator from Missouri gets it. Bush and his cronies have allowed themselves to become the bitches of the Jerry Falwells of the world. I am proud of, and stand with, any person, of whatever party, who realizes and acknowledges that. Cheers, Senator!
Whitehouse Disses the GAO
Mar 30th
The Bush Whitehouse told the Government Accountability Office (GAO), that “Executive Branch agencies are not bound by GAO’s legal advice”, but rather by the opinions of Alberto “Abu Ghraib” Gonzalez’s Justice Department. We, as American taxpayers are being professionally lied to at our own expense. It defies logic that we can continue like this for much longer. Even the thickest among us is bound to wake up and smell the coffee before long. Viva La Revolucion!
Rent Schindler’s List Right Here!

It seems that Terri Schiavo’s parents have decided to sell the list of people who expressed support for their campaign to prevent the removal of their daughter’s feeding tube. What is wrong with this picture?
Why Are We Not Suprised?
Mar 29th
Some people in Colorado were suprised to find out how far the Bushites go to keep dissenters away from Bush’s rallys. Let’s not forget that we are paying for all of this, repression as well as propaganda.
A Perfect Opportunity
Mar 28th
It seems to me that the tempest that arose around the Terry Schiavo matter, was probably wholly unnecessary. The Christian elements that opposed the court’s decision to remove the feeding tube simply forgot that they should ask God to save her and not the brothers Bush. I seem to remember that if one has as much faith as a grain of mustard seed, they can move mountains. What happened here? Ask God to save Ms. Schiavo! The perennial reply to this admonition is, that we prayed for her and “put it in God’s hands.” Great, that is what Christian fundamentalist should do. Instead, we have radical “Christian” elements offering money to people to kill Michael Schiavo and the Florida judge who ordered the tube removal. Right. Like that is what Jesus would do! Come on people. If you expect to remain relevant in modern society, you have to practice what you preach. If you are putting this matter in God’s hands, then do so fully. If it is his will that Terry Schiavo be saved, he will save her. If it isn’t, there is nothing you can do about it anyway. If you truly believe in life after death, perhaps you could also believe that Ms. Schiavo may prefer life everlasting in Heaven over being in a vegitative state in Florida.
Tom DeLay Seems To Have Forgotten…

…the factors leading to his and his family’s decision to let his brain damaged father die in 1988. This story by the LA Times recounts the processs and sheds new light on the naked political maneuvering attempted by Bush and Co. last week. It has also surfaced that Bush signed legislation in Texas allowing family to “pull the plug” under certain circumstances. What a bunch of lame-o’s.
